Online Class Etiquette

Welcome to our online yoga classes! To ensure a positive and enriching experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

  • Arrive on time: Log in a few minutes before the class starts to get settled and ensure your equipment is ready.

  • Respect the Schedule: If you join after the class has begun, try to do so quietly to avoid disrupting others.

  • Set Up Your Space: Choose a quiet, clutter-free area where you have enough space to move comfortably.

  • Gather Your Gear: Have your yoga mat, any props you might need, and a water bottle ready before the class begins.

  • Stay Visible: Keeping your camera on allows the instructor to provide better feedback and ensures you’re participating in the class.

  • Check Your Background: Ensure your background is appropriate and doesn’t distract from the class.

  • Avoid Distractions: Keep your microphone muted when you’re not speaking or asking a question to minimize background noise.

  • Listen Carefully: Pay attention to the instructor’s directions and cues to get the most out of your practice.

  • Ask Questions: If you need clarification, use the chat or unmute yourself at appropriate times.

  • Be Considerate: Be mindful of other participants and avoid any behavior that might be disruptive.

  • Give Space: If you’re in a group class, respect the virtual space of other participants and avoid dominating the conversation.

  • Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of other participants and do not record or share class sessions without permission.

  • Minimize Distractions: Try to limit interruptions by turning off notifications or avoiding multitasking during the class.

  • Engage Fully: Participate actively and attentively to get the best experience from the class.

  • Share Your Thoughts: If you have suggestions or feedback, feel free to share them with us after the class so we can continue to improve our sessions.

  • Most importantly, have fun and enjoy your practice. Yoga is about finding balance and peace, so embrace the experience.

  • Honor Your Limits: Pay attention to how your body feels during the practice. If something doesn’t feel right or causes discomfort, modify the pose or take a break as needed.

  • Respect Your Boundaries: Yoga is about finding balance and peace. Respect your body’s signals and avoid pushing beyond your limits.
